[title of show] is a one-act musical that chronicles its own creation as an entry in the New York Musical Theatre Festival. It’s a musical comedy… about writing a musical comedy.

Serving as the exclusive graphic designer for mad Theatre of Tampa, FL, I assumed responsibility for generating all creative content for digital, social, and print marketing. My role encompassed the creation of printed posters, post cards, programs, and direct mail content for each show. Additionally, I produced web and social media graphics and addressed various ad hoc creative requirements, such as designing show merchandise, overseeing photo shoots, and providing videography and video production for live shows.

Marketing: Multi-Phased Approach

To generate buzz for [title of show], our marketing strategy unfolded in multiple phases. Four months prior to the opening, the initial marketing content showcased four empty chairs. As the opening date approached, all subsequent content prominently featured the cast. Later on, we introduced additional material highlighting one of the four main cast members. This approach involved crafting diverse marketing content with a unified brand, capturing the attention of passersby with each visual iteration.
